Throughout my time in the wine trade, I have always jumped at the opportunity to purchase library release wines.
Wines that have been aged in the cellar where they were made. I often buy heavy into producers and wines that I like when they are made available to create my own library as well.Having long lived, age worthy wines ready to drink, or more ready to drink, is something I have always believed in as a service to the wine community. No matter how deep a wine cellar, it cannot have every wine available. People without a wine cellar often just do not get the chance to try older wines any other way. Older wines properly aged not only offer a unique and enjoyable experience, but eye-opening understanding too. For my Christmas countdown this year I will be bringing older vintages available to light along with a friend or two. “This Just In”, wines that I have recently tasted and brought in, or harder to get wines that may not always be available.
